WORK
WEB DESIGN

A website should feel impossible to ignore—and effortless to understand.

Blue Bell builds high-impact digital experiences around a business-specific creative thesis, page-specific buyer journeys, substantive search content, responsive art direction, performance, accessibility, measurement, and merchant editability.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

Designed as a sequence, not a pile of tactics.

Each stage has one job, one handoff, and one way to know whether it worked.

01

Discover

Research the business, competitors, buyer psychology, current experience, and brand truth.

02

Thesis

Define the one memorable interaction idea that belongs uniquely to this business.

03

Journey

Map every important page around the buyer decision and conversion event.

04

Build + QA

Implement progressively, validate Shopify semantics, then test the actual imported runtime.

01

The creative thesis comes before the animation

Blue Bell starts with what makes the business distinct: product physics, environment, history, customer job, culture, visual assets, or the way value is created. Motion and spatial design are then chosen to express that idea. A Three.js scene is not automatically innovative; a precise, brand-native interaction often is.

02

Every important page gets its own buyer journey

The homepage can create wonder, but service, industry, case-study, and conversion pages must each answer a different question. Blue Bell defines buyer state, proof burden, primary action, secondary action, handoff, and measurement before composing sections.

03

Spectacle is progressively enhanced

Important copy, links, and conversion paths render in Liquid/HTML. Advanced motion can use CSS, Canvas, WebGL, GSAP, View Transitions, or other tools when justified, but the page remains understandable if the enhancement fails or reduced motion is enabled.

04

Editability is part of production quality

Normal marketing content belongs in Shopify JSON templates, sections, blocks, image pickers, rich text, and settings. Owners should not need to edit Liquid because the design team created something visually ambitious.

DESIGN LAB

If swapping the logo makes the site belong to somebody else, the idea is not finished.

The interaction model should come from the heart of the business—not from a reusable agency aesthetic.

THE GENERIC VERSION

Template-first

Same hero, same cards, same motion, same customer journey. Change the logo and colors and it could be anybody.

THE BLUE BELL STANDARD

Brand-native

A creative thesis that belongs to the company, with unique buyer journeys, responsive art direction, purposeful motion, and content that answers the real buying decision.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

The questions buyers should ask before they hire anyone.

No guarantee language, no made-up benchmarks, no hiding the limits of the system.

Do you always use 3D?

No. We use advanced 3D or WebGL only when it has a brand or comprehension job worth the performance cost.

Will an immersive site hurt SEO?

It can if essential content is hidden in JavaScript or performance collapses. Our baseline content remains server-rendered and search-accessible, with motion layered on top.

Can I edit the site after launch?

Yes. Merchant editability is a release requirement for normal content and page composition.
